Manuscript Submission

HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL OR MANUSCRIPT

All manuscripts must be accompanied by a manuscript submission/evaluation fee of $100 in a check or money order payable to Bridge-Logos Foundation.

For an in-depth editorial review and detailed report and recommendations for improving your manuscript, our fee is $200. (Neither the general reading of your manuscript or the in-depth editorial review guarantees acceptance or publication of your manuscript.)

We welcome all unsolicited manuscripts. The guidelines listed below must be followed carefully to ensure the proper handling of your manuscript. Please include a $100 manuscript/evaluation fee along with your manuscript—or a $200 fee for an in-depth editorial review, report, and recommendations. When mailing your manuscript to us, include a check or money order payable to Bridge-Logos Foundation.

If you are e-mailing your manuscript (which we prefer), please mail us your submission payment approximately 5 days beforehand. You will receive e-mail confirmation that we are in receipt of your payment. Manuscripts received that do not follow these guidelines and are not accompanied by the submission payment will be discarded. We do not distribute or market other publishers' books.

We prefer e-mailed submissions. E-mail your proposal and manuscript to manuscripts@bridgelogos.com. Please attach your manuscript as an MS Word file. The file should follow standard MS format: Times New Roman 12 pt. type, double-spaced with one-inch page margins. Please refrain from using special formatting such as bold type or all caps, and do not include photos, graphics, or design elements in the manuscript. Please include at least 5 sample chapters of the manuscript with your proposal.

Manuscripts without a proposal letter will be automatically rejected.

You may mail your proposal letter and manuscript to Acquisitions Editor, Bridge-Logos Publishers, 17750 NW 115th Avenue, Building 200, Suite 220, Alachua, FL 32615. Enclose a self-addressed, stamped mailer sufficient for the return of your material, or indicate that you do not wish to have the material returned to you. We return manuscripts to their authors only if adequate postage and a return mailer are provided.

Your book proposal (no more than 5 pages) should summarize the contents of your book and give the approximate word count of the finished product. Include a table of contents that gives a two or three-sentence description of each chapter.

The book proposal must include a short paragraph on the following:

  • Why your book is different, and how it stands out from others on the same subject
  • Why you choose Bridge-Logos, and how readers may be changed for the better by reading your book
  • Information on your professional background of the past five years
  • Previously published works
  • Highlights of your spiritual walk with the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Speaking engagements, your upcoming calendar of events, and approximately how many people attend your events
  • Website information for you or your ministry or business - if you have a website.
  • Information on your relationship with the media (radio/TV appearances and articles published about you or authored by you)

After our editors review your submission, we will notify you by mail or e-mail if the proposal was accepted or declined. Allow up to 4-8 weeks for the submission to be reviewed and a response letter sent.

Due to the multitude of submissions we receive, we do not accept phone calls or e-mails regarding the receipt of a manuscript or submission updates. Our editors are not available for consultation.
